Luxury Vacation to New York 2009

Well, my wife Shelley and I got back from New York last week on our 1st  Luxury Vacation with our Travel Club we belong to and all I can say is WOW! What an Amazing Vacation. It was my 1st time in New York so I really didn’t know what to expect. When you go on a vacation with our club there is way more included than just hotel and air, plus you save a TON of money because we use the bulk buying concept.  We figured it out and we saved around $1500 on the Vacation.

When we landed Thursday they had a Limo waiting at our bag claim, we were taken the The Mansfield, #1 Rated Boutique Hotel in New York. Our room was even ready for an early check in. That night they arranged for anyone who wanted to go tho the Herb Alpert concert so we said why not. It was at the Nokia Theater in Time Square. What a great show! The rest of the night we walked NY, went for a great dinner and in for an early night.

Friday we were picked up by Limo to go to an exclusive showing at the Peter Max exhibit.  That guy has some amazing work and what an honer to be able to go there.  From there we were picked up to go to The Lion King, that was another awesome show.  The Limo brought us back to The Mansfield were we went to Wayne Nugent and his fiance Suzann’s penthouse sweet to have a nightcap.  Shelley and I didn’t get enough there so we went out on the town, grabbed a bike with a basket and he drove us through the city to an Irish bar, very cool place! Then Pizza and back for sleep.

Saturday we were picked up by Limo to go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  It would take you a month to go through this whole place, we checked out the Egyptian Pyramid exhibit and a couple others and then went to lunch at a really cool place, I wish I remembered the name.  We bummed around New York and then our group had a reservation at another unbelievable restaurant.  Below you can watch a video of Wayne Newgent, Mike Azcue, Dan Stamen and Eddie Head give a great speech about the company.  Great Group of Guys!  From there we went to BB Kings Club, Super Cool Joint.  Then off to sing some Karaoke at 2nd and 2nd Karaoke Bar, I’m gonna leave those Video’s Out!  Maybe you’ll find some online somewhere.  Closed that place at 4am, had a Hot Dog at the Hot Dog Stand and prepared for my hang over.

Sunday was a rough day but well worth it!  We Packed, walked around New York and shopped, went to the airport and back to the grind!  This was a Fantastic Vacation, I will definatly be there next year for New York Round 2!
