How to Make Money with a Home Based Travel Business

World Ventures is a unique business
because of what it actually offers. Its product is vacations. For those who are
enrolled in the program, there are cheap vacation packages costing as low as $50.
You have to admit that’s pretty cheap for an Oceanside vacation or cruise, unless you
actually live by said ocean. The way they accomplish this is by buying in bulk
for all of their members. To become a member of World Ventures, you have to pay
a onetime fee of $200 – $300 with a monthly fee of between $25 and $60
depending on the package. The fee covers
unlimited access to all the trip packages offered.

Essentially,
World Ventures is a great way to
save on vacations. If you do it right,
you can actually make money while you’re at it. The way to do this is to invite
people to be a customer of World Ventures.
By doing so, you make a commission from their entry fee. Of course, it’s
not that simple because most people don’t like being asked to attend seminars.
The way World Ventures does their inviting is through phone calls. They pride
themselves on using no flyers or e-mails.
Instead they use the phone because not only does it add a personal
touch, it also puts the inviter in control of the conversation.

All
you have to do is call up the person you want to invite and ask them to come to
their computer to watch a web presentation for World Ventures. Once they’re done
watching, they can decide whether or not they want to join and get access to
all of the amazing vacation benefits.

To
become an inviter, you sign up on the World Venture website. Though it’s not
completely required, you are suggested to purchase all of the products
available on the site to get the most out of the experience.

There have been many people that say they made a lot of money doing so and they
have finally experienced the financial freedom that they longed for. This is definitely worth the $200 sign-up fee.

World
Ventures is not a pyramid scheme and fortunately those accusations are
dislodged by all of the successful sales and testimonials that have been
provided by customers.

Ultimately, whether or not this business is a good idea is completely up to you.
Keep in mind that it is a solid business and it does make sense. You can sign
up and receive those amazing discounts, the dream vacations and the home based travel business. Or you can
let this opportunity pass by the wayside.
If you do, be sure to ask yourself, does anyone else offer a package
like this? I don’t think so!

Is Home Based Travel Business a Scam?

Independent World Ventures Marketing Director, Bill Ashton, offers cheap vacations to his customers. When I say cheap, I mean roughly $50 – $200 for a three day 4 star vacation which sounds utterly impossible. They also offer the opportunity to start your own home based travel business. This is all done through membership fees.

To join World Ventures you have to pay a one time fee of $200 – $300 and then a monthly fee of $25.00 – $60.00 per month. Basically, with your dues, the company purchases vacation packages in bulk and is able to offer them to you at a very low price. This is probably fairly good if you plan to take a lot of vacations in the same year. In one seminar, they noted that one member took a total of thirteen vacations in a single year.

That $25.00 – $60.00 per month will certainly keep the company going since each customer in the organization is supposed to refer four people who would also pay the $200 – $300 entry fee along with the $25.00 – $60.00 per month. It equals out to quite a bit of money as those four people will each refer four more people. The best part is we are building a residual income for everyone paying the monthly fees.

There are many websites out there that are dedicated to proving that World Ventures is a scam. The only real proof that has been uncovered is the fact that it has the APPEARANCE of a pyramid scheme. But members are not paid by recruiting people into the company; they are paid by selling travel club memberships only.

Furthermore, an internet search on this topic will reveal several forums where this is actually an ongoing debate. The funny thing is that all of the people who oppose World Ventures are people that have never become involved with it.

Since December of 2005 World Ventures has set out to provide outstanding vacation values that save people money and also help them make money at the same time with their own home based travel business.

How to Start a Travel Business

To start a travel business, there are a few things you will need. Most states require that you have at the very least a high school diploma as well as the ability to do ticketing for your customers. This means that you have to be licensed by the American Society of Travel Agents. In addition to that, you must be well versed in many subjects such as passports, international laws, weather, and any other question that might be raised by a customer. Essentially, you must become a sort of MacGyver.

Don’t let this daunt you though. It might seem as if it is a difficult task and the truth is, it is very difficult. However, in the end when you’re sitting at home after taking advantage of this travel business opportunity, you’ll realize that you don’t have to go in to work, you don’t have to report to anyone and life is good. You work at your own leisure. No one tells you what to do and you can sleep in as long as you want.

Another thing that you will need to watch out for is your expenses. Many people end up shutting their businesses down because they don’t watch what they spend. There are so many things that they think they need to run their business such as stationary, envelopes, hardware, all kinds of things. When doing this kind of work, it is best to use what you have and improvise for a while. The idea is to make more money than you spend, that way you’ll always have finances. The best way to achieve this is to work out a budget for yourself or sit down with someone and have them do it for you.

As you progress, eventually you may have to hire more agents to work with you in your home based travel business. If all goes well, it may end up not being quite so home based in the future. But that’s looking ahead a little too far because after all, the goal right now is just to get started.

So those are the basics of starting your very own home based travel business. It may be rough at first and there may be a lot of requirements. If you are successful, you will get to experience a financial freedom that few people get in their entire lives. You’ll be able to spend time with your loved ones. So really, what are you waiting for? Read up on all the things you know such as passports, weather, international laws, and certification by the American Society of Travel Agents. Once you get the ball rolling, there’s no telling where it will stop or if it will even stop at all.

6 Advantages of Starting Your Home-based Travel Business

“Owning my time” scored high among a number of advantages listed by home-based travel entrepreneurs.  Of course, Corporate America has its perks and thrills.  Some would rather go the road less-traveled by many in the 80’s than spend their remaining productive years beating both the Bundy clock and the traffic every morning.

Running a travel business from home is becoming popular.  In fact, a new wave of travel experts holds office within the confines of their living rooms!

Today, there are millions of entrepreneurs who operate their businesses from home.  Most of them have never regretted their decision any single day.

Why does a home-based travel business appeal to so many nowadays?  Recent surveys showed that there are at least 6 reasons why a home-based travel business “rocks”:

  1. Control. Those who operate a home-based travel business own their time and manage their priorities.  There is no more setting aside of family vacations in favor of work deadlines.
  2. Minimal capital investment. A home-based travel business does not require huge cash outlay.  You can operate a home-based travel business with just your PC, your home-based travel website and uninterrupted internet connection.
  3. Savings. Operating a home-based travel business saves you from incidental costs that are necessary when operating the business somewhere else.  It also saves you travel time. The money you could have spent in buying shoes and bags to complement your corporate look can be used to purchase office equipment instead.  Operating your travel business from home offers you certain tax benefits, which you should discuss with an accountant.  The bottom line is that you slash your operating cost in half!
  4. Focus. A home-based travel business gives you more focus on your goals as it eliminates distractions.  Such distraction includes having to dress up and travel to work and back home again.  You can spend the time to formulate new ideas or get on the phone to call prospects instead – even in your pajamas!  You can also use the time to learn new skills online.  As you work in full view of your kids, you are constantly reminded to do things well for them.  You cannot mess it up as they depend on you.
  5. Peace of mind. If you are raising young children, your home based travel business does not stand in the way of you personally taking care of your kids.  In fact, this is one of the common reasons cited by most home-based entrepreneurs.  They have decided to make the shift from having regular jobs to making it on their own.  They want to spend more time with their family and ensure the safety of their kids.  Operating your travel business right inside your home is giving you the privilege “to shoot two birds with one stone”.
  6. A Family Affair. As you operate your travel business from home, the other members of the family will learn how things are run.  This slowly builds their enthusiasm towards the business.  It would not take long and you will see them involved in the running of your home-based travel business.

Travel opportunity has increased in recent years as more and more people have ventured outside the parameters of their own yards to seek more viable opportunities in other states or overseas.  Retirees, newly-married couples and young families love to travel and they become part of your prospects’ list.

As you grow your list, learn new skills, save money and imbibe the business spirit among members of your family, your home-based travel business has no other way to go, but up.  The financial rewards that will eventually follow would be enough to convince you that you have made the right decision when you chose to operate your travel business from home.

Isn’t it about time you think about it?
